(tian jiu), ??? (nuo mi jiu), ??? (jiang mi jiu), and ?? (jiu zao). It’s made with sweet rice (AKA sticky rice, or glutinous rice) that is fermented with a distiller’s yeast we call ?? (jiu qu) in Chinese.
